John Emerson Photography

John Emerson is an environmental portrait photographer with over twenty years of experience. Specializing in richly lit portraiture both in studio and on location, his strongest attribute is in making photographs that are beautiful and creative out of situations and locations that often have very little to offer. Lately, his focus has been on non-profit and advocacy assignments. Since starting his business, John has traveled all over the United States for many prominent clients for both advertising and editorial assignments.

In addition to his commissioned assignments, John is currently working on several photographic story telling projects. Current stories are under the “Project” header. John is married and has four beautiful daughters and two crazy dogs.
